Buffalo Sauce

 

Ingredients:

 

⅓ cup                   Barrel & Bottle hot sauce
2 cloves                finely minced garlic or

2 teaspoons         garlic in the tube
¼ cup                   water
5 tablespoons     butter, frozen

Procedure:

Step 1. Get yourself a bottle of Barrel & Bottle hot sauce. Add sauce, garlic, and water to a small pot. Bring to a boil and simmer on medium heat for about 2 minutes.

 

Step 2. Turn heat to low (as low as possible), then add butter 1 tablespoon at a time until incorporated into the sauce. Repeat with remaining tablespoons of butter. Take your time and don’t rush otherwise your sauce will separate.

If your sauce does separate, thicken with a teaspoon of cornstarch slurry, but that won’t happen...right.

 

Step 3 (Just in case) Gently stir in a tablespoon of slurry into buffalo sauce and continue to cook on low for 3-4 minutes.

 

Cornstarch Slurry:

 

1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons cold water

Procedure

 

Step 1. Pour the cornstarch in a cup. Add water. Mix thoroughly with a fork. Re-mix as needed.
